Xerxes by Shawcor Project Profiles

As RaceTrac planned an upgrade to an existing C-store in Commerce, GA, they decided to transition from their current steel storage tanks to fiberglass storage tanks to be proactive with the latest storage technologies available to meet the growing demand of new fuels such as E-85.

As a result, one Xerxes by Shawcor 10′-diameter, 20,000-gallon tank and two 10′-diameter, 10,000-gallon x 10,000-gallon multicompartment double-wall tanks were installed to store regular unleaded, premium unleaded, mid-grade unleaded, no-ethanol unleaded, E-85 and diesel.

As part of this transition, RaceTrac purchased land next to the existing C-store to build the new fuel islands before closing the existing ones to minimize the amount of time that the store was closed.
