Project Profiles
A new automotive dealership and service center in Washington Township, New Jersey, was to be built on an undeveloped five-acre parcel with no access to a public water main. The engineering firm, REDCOM, worked with the municipality water department to find a solution.
A determination was made that a water tank approved by the municipality fire officials would be best suited for the project.
A 10′-diameter, 35,000-gallon Xerxes fiberglass storage tank was installed to store a sufficient amount of water for fire protection. Our tank was selected because of the previous experience that the contractor had with Xerxes tanks for fire protection applications.
